Blu-ray Ripper Review

Since the establishment of its technical standard in 2002, Blu-ray has been considered as the next generation of the traditional DVD. And many world-leading companies including Sony, Panasonic, Philip have released their own Blu-ray players. Equipped with the latest technology, Blu-ray still remains caviar to the general due to the high price. So many Blu-ray rippers have come into being to make up for this limitation. And it does bring a lot of convenience for us consumers, but how to judge a good Blu-ray ripper? Here are some suggestions:

First, a good Blu-ray ripper should of course be able to decrypt Blu-ray, such as removing different Blu-ray protections including region protection and copy protection.

Second, a good Blu-ray ripper should be able to rip and convert Blu-ray with high quality. The reason of Blu-ray’s popularity is its high image and sound quality, if a Blu-ray ripper cannot produce high-quality target videos or audios, then what’s the necessity of it?

Third, a good Blu-ray ripper should allow large batch conversion. To be specific, what if you have thirty or fifty movies to rip? Do you want to do the conversion one by one? Definitely no. And a powerful Blu-ray ripper does help. You just need to select all the source Blu-ray files and then convert them simultaneously just by several mouse clicks, thus saving a lot of time and avoiding unnecessary troubles.

Forth, what if you want to pick out the music episode in a Blu-ray movie and put it into your iPod? Well, a mighty Blu-ray ripper should have taken this into consideration, that is, it should enable users to extract audios from the source video. You may ask again: what if my audio player just supports MP3 or WMA or any other audio formats? Ok, some considerate ripping products such as iToolSoft Blu-ray Ripper are capable of converting Blu-ray to most popular video (AVI, MP4, MPG, MPEG etc.)and audio formats(MP3, WMA,WMV,OGG etc.).

Apart from the requirements listed above, selectable user settings, fast conversion speed, easy-to-use interface will also be a plus.
